On my Way to a New, Meaningful Profession
OUT OF DEEP CONVICTION
The idea of Am Ende ein Fest has matured for a long time. Matured through my own painful encounters with passings and saying goodbye to loved ones and my conviction that there is plenty of room for new ideas that can make saying goodbye more individual, closer to life and thus more comforting. Matured also through encounters with great people who have already turned passionately to a new farewell and funeral culture. When my father died in 2018, that was the decisive impetus. I spontaneously organized the last Fest for him myself. The foundation of Am Ende ein Fest followed just a few months later.
WITH GREAT EXPERIENCE
I am a consultant, communications professional, and passionate service provider with three decades of experience in creative work and event organization. I am married to an American wife and have two sons. As a multicultural family, we have traveled the world and lived in different cultures – in Europe, the US and Asia. I bring my rich professional and personal experience into my daily work with mourning people.
FROM A SINGLE SOURCE
I am your central point of contact for all funeral services, i.e. from taking care of the deceased, transport and burial, to printed matters, decoration and hospitality. For this I cooperate with undertakers and other experts, some of whom I am already connected to from my work before Am Ende ein Fest. With each commemoration and celebration of life, this network gains new partners.
